Pistachio Scones with Parma Ham, Mascarpone and Pesto
Indulge in these pistachio scones with Parma Ham, mascarpone and pesto to really excite your taste buds!
Mix baking powder, flour, salt and pepper and rub in breadcrumbs. Combine egg and milk and pour in. Add pistachios, Parmigiano Reggiano and thyme until dough is dry.
Roll the dough out and cut into triangles. Brush scones with milk and bake in the oven until golden brown. Serve the scones sliced open, spread with mascarpone and topped with pesto and slices of Parma Ham.
Parma Ham is a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) product and is 100% natural. The Ducal Crown is now a certification trademark.
